I guess she wanted to play it safe.

It was a tribute to the soul singer and Reverend Al Green, who was in attendance, but it was also perhaps a call to supporters, asking them to stick with him for the 2012 presidential elections.  Al Green sang at the event along with soul vocalist India.Arie, a singer that is so under-appreciated, we hope the President’s support and love for her music will give her the exposure she deserves.
