The Cecil Harlem wins Esquire’s pick for Restaurant of the Year
One of our favorite restaurants in Harlem, The Cecil was named Esquire’s “Restaurant of the Year” at the First Annual Esquire Food and Drink Awards which were conveniently held right at The Cecil restaurant on 118th Street and St. Nicholas avenue. The event featured Tastings from five of America’s greatest Chefs and cocktails made with Ketel One Vodka.
Esquire Magazine took notice of The Cecil and their menu inspired by the flavors of the African diaspora and Asia, which has been a huge success this past year, attracting diners from all walks of life to Harlem. Opened a year ago by Richard Parsons and Executive Chef Alexander Smalls, The Cecil restaurant sits right next door to the duo’s other hit restaurant and Jazz club Minton’s. The Cecil head Chef JJ Johnson and his team can rejoice in being recognized for their unique offerings. Go experience the delicious food and great ambiance at The Cecil, America’s best new restaurant located right here in Harlem! You won’t regret it.
