Sweet Spot Festival Jamaican Indepen-DANCE Cooler Fete this Saturday!


The Sweet Spot Festival is back in Harlem this weekend with a Jamaican themed dance party at the West Harlem Piers. DJ Herbert Holler & The Rice and Peas Massive will be joined by DJ Gravy, Max Glazer and Micro Don spinning Dancehall reggae tunes and riddim vibes, and Dancehall artist Nardo Ranks will perform live as well.

Sweet Spot Festival Jamaican Indepen-DANCE Cooler Fete will also feature the Sweet Spot PoP-Up Market with food vendors, arts & crafts, and Vintage Bazaar. For kids, The Laundromat Project offers a free silkscreening workshop promoting “Harlem on My Mind, Too,” an oral history project created to document and celebrate Harlemites’ stories, history, and culture.

Come on out Saturday,  August 2nd to this FREE Sweet Spot Festival event from 2:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at West Harlem Pier Park – 125th Street.  Always a great crowd and lots of fun!
