Nina Simone tribute this Wednesday, April 23rd at Minton’s Harlem
April 21st marked the 11-year anniversary of the death of Nina Simone, “The High Priestess Of Soul,” who past away at the age of 70. This Wednesday, April 23rd, Revive-Music Musical Directions and Minton’s Redux presents “A Blues For Nina“, which will shine a well deserved light on this inimitable singer, pianist and civil rights activist.
Pianists Raymond Angry and Chris Rob along with vocalist Nadia Washington will perform from the legendary Harlem bandstand. Manning the wheels of steel will be DJ OP! as he spins classic jazz cuts for the 11 p.m. Harlem After Dark late night series. Dinner will be served during the 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows.
Two Dinners sets:
6:30pm doors / 8pm show (1st set)
9:30pm doors / 10pm show (2nd set)

Harlem After Dark Late night starts at 11pm with DJ (OP!) Opuruiche Miller spinning jazz cut classics.

Food and Beverage: Bar Seating is $20 and one drink minimum, per person.
Table seating is $30 and a two drink minimum per person.
Gentlemen: Jackets are required for Minton’s Redux but not for Harlem After Dark.
Lounge $20 / 1 drink min.

Late Night $10 / no min.
