Harlem Helps: A Benefit for The East Harlem Collapse at Ginny’s Supper Club / Red Rooster
Chef Marcus Samuelsson from the Red Rooster has announced “Harlem Helps“, a fundraiser set to take place at Ginny’s Supper Club next Wednesday, April 2nd to support those affected by the recent explosion in East Harlem. Samuelsson Tweeted: “We need 2 come together 2 help our Harlem neighbors. Please come support @redcrossny to benefit East Harlem victims.”
Harlem Helps: A Benefit for The East Harlem Collapse will be hosted by Marcus Samuelsson and special guest performers, and the evening will include a cocktail party with live entertainment to celebrate the Harlem Community. Ticket proceeds will go directly to the victims of the collapse via American Red Cross in Greater NY: East Harlem Collapse Relief. Obviously, this is an upscale event, as the price of entry is $350 for Ginny’s Supper Club VIP Cocktail Hour at 7 pm and $175 for general admission at 8pm. If that sounds to steep, you can always donate directly to the Red Cross as well.
In light of the tragic East Harlem explosion at 116th St. / Park Ave on the morning of March 12, 2014, we at Red Rooster Harlem are responding with assistance for our neighbors. To that end, on the evening of April 2, we are hosting a fundraiser to aid these families and individuals in their hour of need.
