Joe’s Crab Shack Set to Open in Harlem on 125th Street
Joe’s Crab Shack has announced the official opening date for its Harlem location at 2349 Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Next Tuesday, July 30th the 10,000-square-foot restaurant will open in the new four-story shopping center on 125th street, and this southern seafood joint will offer the first 100 customers who dine there on opening day free crab for a year! You heard that right. If you don’t make the first 100, you can still have the chance to win free crab for LIFE if you dine at Joe’s Crab Shack on opening day.
Joe’s Crab Shack can accommodate 380 guests, and most importantly, the restaurant will provide about 170 jobs in Harlem.

During the grand opening event, guests can donate to Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, by purchasing coupons for desserts, appetizers and entrees for their next visit. For every $1 donation, guests receive a free Key Lime Pie; with a $5 donation, a free Crab Nacho; and with a $10 donation, a free Classic Steampot. Joe’s and its guests have already raised nearly $1.1 million this year for Autism Speaks.
The Joe’s Crab Shack “100% Shore” menu offers the flavors and spices of the Southern shore that add a delicious, unexpected twist to fresh seafood from the highest quality sources. Menu standards include Steampots, seafood entrees and mouth-watering crab dishes featuring Dungeness, snow and king crab. The Harlem location will also offer new summer menu promotion items including the Corona Beach Bake and Coastal Wave Steampot featuring a wide range of lobster and crab options finished with a Corona chile-lime bath.
