The 28th Annual 116th Street Festival this Saturday in East Harlem
It’s raining like crazy tonight, but let’s hope that the sun will break through Saturday afternoon for the 28th Annual 116th Street Festival in East Harlem. This annual event takes place a day before the Puerto Rican Day Parade, and has always been a sort of kick-off party for the weekend in El Barrio. The 116th Street Festival block party celebrates all Hispanic culture, and pays tribute to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and various parts of South America with day day full of music, food, games and more for the whole family.
The 28th Annual 116th Street Festival is going down this Saturday, June 8th from 11:00am to 5:00pm at East Harlem on 116th Street between Lexington and 1st Avenue.
