ArtCrawl Harlem – Motown to Def Jam: An Art Gallery Tour this Saturday
Here’s a reminder that ArtCrawl Harlem will be celebrating its 5th anniversary with “Motown to Def Jam”, a four-hour trolley-bus tour event this Saturday as part of African-American Music Appreciation Month. Curated by Souleo, this special tour will highlight socially conscious music created by recording artists from Chess Records, Stax Records, Motown, Philadelphia International Records and Def Jam, while also touring four galleries in Harlem that feature works of visual artists paying tribute to the music of Muddy Waters, The Staple Singers, Diana Ross & the Supremes, The O’Jays, Public Enemy and more.
