MLK Day – President Obama Inauguration celebrations at Red Rooster and Ginny’s Supper Club in Harlem
This Monday January 21st is a big day with both Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the second inauguration of President Obama taking place. In Harlem, The Red Rooster and Ginny’s Supper Club will be celebrating with a day that starts with televising the inauguration and following events live from Washington DC on Monday morning starting at 11:00 am. Come nightfall, the joint will be jumpin’ with an evening of cocktails, dinner and entertainment featuring a performance by the fantastic finalist from “The Voice”, Amanda Brown. King Day at Ginny’s is said to be a community celebration with free admission, but you’ll want to reserve ahead if you plan on dining.
Ginny’s Supper Club is located between 125th and 126th street and Lenox Avenue, underneath Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster restaurant.
