FEMA opens applicant registration sites in Harlem

For those in Harlem who were affected by Hurricane Sandy and need to apply for federal assistance, FEMA has finally establishing three applicant registration sites in East Harlem and Central Harlem.  Victims of the storm can expect a visit from a FEMA inspector to document damages or loss within 7-10 days after applying.

Colon Plaza, 55 East 115 St. Open 11/24/2012 – 12/07/2012

Hours: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Bonificio Cora Texidor, 3-7 East 116 St. Open 11/24/2012 – 12/07/2012

Hours: M-F 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Weekends 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
