Whole Foods East Harlem Confirmed
Whole Foods issued a press release today announcing that the chain will open a 39,000-square-foot store in Harlem. The store will occupy 39,000 square feet within a new construction at Lenox Avenue and 125th Street, and will open in 2015.
In addition, Whole Foods will open on the Upper East Side, at 87th Street and Third Avenue, with 38,000 square feet of retail space, in the next few years.
Where will there be a Whole Foods in East Harlem? The location is on West 125th Street and Lenox. It is still West Harlem, and is generally referred to Central Harlem. As an FYI, East Harlem is East of 5th Ave.
