Apollo Uptown Hall panel discussion and viewing party of the Presidential Debate
The highly anticipated Presidential Debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney is set for Tuesday tonight at Hofstra University in Long Island, and you are invited to come out to the Apollo Uptown Hall, which will include a panel discussion and viewing party of the Presidential Debate at the Apollo Theater. To start things off, there will be live entertainment from Amateur Night at the Apollo soul/jazz violinist artist Charisa and music provided by RhythmAndSoulRadio.com’s The Legendary Chris Washington.

Building on the dynamic conversation about the impact of this year’s election on the Harlem community that was explored during the Apollo Uptown Hall series’ launch (Vote Like Your Life Depends on It), this event will open with a panel discussion moderated by Fordham University Political Science Assistant Professor Christina Greer with political analysis from Michael Brendan Dougherty (The American Conservative), William Tucker (The American Spectator), Herb Boyd (New York Amsterdam News), Armstrong Williams (Sirius XM’s The Power), Esther Armah (WBAI-FM) and Mark Riley (WWRL 1600 AM).
Black Enterprise Business Report’s Shannon LaNier will also lead an audience Q&A session followed by a viewing of the live televised debate.
