Hip Hop – True School NYC Summer Park Jams 2012

We native New Yorkers are well aware that Hip Hop culture started in the parks of NYC back in the late 1970’s, when DJs, MCs, Graffiti artists, and B-Boys / B-Girls would unite to express themselves outdoors during the summer months.  If you would like to experience what it was like,  Tools of War has launched its FREE 2012 Hip Hop – True School NYC Summer Park Jams, which includes “Spanish Harlem Hop” every Thursday 3-7pm evening in June at White Park, East 105th Street between Lexington and Third avenue.  Also in Harlem, “Digger’s Delight” starts on July 31 and runs every Tuesday until the end of August from 4-8pm at St Nicholas Park 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue.

The party hits the boogie-down Bronx with the 10th Annual “Crotona Park Jam” every Thursday in July from 5-8pm at Crotona Park (Charlotte Street and Crotona Park East, Bronx).  Check out the flyer below:
